About Mrs. Melworm 

I am thrilled to be the Library Media Specialist here at Nettingham. 

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts (magna cum laude, Villanova University, a Master of Arts in Teaching (Fairleigh Dickinson University), and Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology with a Concentration in School Library Media Specialist (New Jersey City University). My family is under strict instruction to not let me sign up for any more degrees! 

After beginning my career in a parochial school as a middle school science teacher, I moved to a public school setting as an elementary classroom teacher in 2007. I taught 5th grade at Terrill Middle School for three years before transitioning to Brunner Elementary School to teach 4th grade. In 2022, the New Jersey Department of Education honored me as a New Jersey Exemplary Educator. I transitioned to Nettingham Middle School as the Library Media Specialist in September 2023. 

Outside of school, I coach a high school varsity gymnastics team. I enjoy reading, cuddling with my cat Cooper, doing crafts, and all things Disney.
