Song Lao Shi

I am excited about working with SPFHS students and faculty to help our students develop cultural and global awareness and the Chinese language skills for interpersonal, interpretive and presentational communication. These skills will help our students as they move forward into higher education and everday life.

A little about my professional background:

I graduated from Qiqihare Teachers' University with a Bachelors of English Language Education and Teaching with a minor in Chinese. While working as an ESL teacher at Daqing No.1 High School, I earned a Masters of Pedagogy from Northeastern University. I have been teaching Chinese in SPFHS for 8 years now, I also serve as the advisors for the Chinese club and Care For Kids Club . As a native speaker, I am dedicated and motivated to help my students enbrace the Chinese culture and language.
