Senior Student Parking for the Class of 2025
- SENIOR PARKING
Senior students are eligible for parking in the high school student lot, on Cedar Street, in Green Forest Park and in assigned spots on streets around the school. Parking permits will be issued to senior students who live 1+ miles from the high school campus through a lottery system.
Students who live less than 1 mile from the campus are not eligible for a parking permit.
It is imperative that any 12th grade student planning to drive to school procure a parking permit before the start of school. Permit applications are available through the Attendance Office and on the SPFK12 website by going to the following areas: Our schools, Scotch Plains-Fanwood HS -> For Students ->Seniors ->Parking.Important information:
Students are able to return registration forms now through Monday, August 19th to be part of the lottery. After that time, permits are given on a first come, first serve basis.
Students must provide a copy of their valid NJ State driver’s license, and a copy of the vehicle registration card when returning their Motor Vehicle Registration Form.-
- Motor Vehicle Registration Forms need to be returned signed. It is the student’s responsibility to be familiar with and follow all school driving and parking regulations as detailed on the form.
- A DMV learner’s permit does not qualify as a valid NJ driver’s license.
- A lottery system will be used this year to determine the parking location for each student who completes a registration form. Families with multiple senior drivers per household will only be allowed one spot in the senior lot. Other drivers who need spots will be accommodated in other parking areas.
- Completed Registration forms, along with copies of the NJ driver’s License and vehicle registration can be:
-dropped off in the blue box outside of Door #1-front of the building.
-emailed to spfseniorparking@spfk12.org

Students who are eligible and apply for a parking permit can pick up parking permits as scheduled below.

NOTE: Parents/Guardians can pick up student permits.- Please download and complete the Motor Vehicle Registration Form. Thank you.
